Solar system events here include eclipses and transits. Note the lunar eclipse sequence shows the Moon occulting some stars.
The 4/15/2014 lunar eclipse was aligned by manually overlaying each of the frames. I don’t remember how many, it was more than 200.
The Venus transit movie was finally compiled in late 2014, using a trial version of Adobe After Effects. It sufficiently stabilized the image.
The annular eclipse sequence was also a manual overlay of each frame.
