This will not be fun to track down, but there is terrible stray light coming into the side of the CCD frame somehow. My first suspect is the filter wheel.

Even so, you can still see many background galaxies. It’s peak galaxy season right now, and I may have another chance to shoot in Coma Berenices, Virgo, Leo, etc.
